Chemdawg 91, known interchangeably as Chem91, is a well-balanced hybrid (50% indica, 50% sativa) thought to be a child to the widely known and favoured Chemdawg. Though its exact history is unknown, this hybrid strain is thought to have been developed by an East Coast breeder sharing the same name. Due to its pungent, terpene profile, it is believed this strain derives from a cross between either KUSH , Hashplant, and NTL, or Chemdawg, Skunk, Nepalese and Thai landraces. Interestingly, the “91” in its name is thought to reflect the year this strain first came into existence. The phenotypes of this popular hybrid can waver between being more indica or sativa dominant, though they are always consistent in possessing high THC levels anywhere between 22%-27%. The extremely well-balanced mixture makes this strain a dynamic high no matter the time of day.
